Ramin Guluzada

Ramin Namig oghlu Guluzada was born in 1977 in Baku.
He completed his secondary education at School No. 167 in the Yasamal district of Baku in 1993 and was subsequently admitted to the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics, from which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1997 and a master’s degree in 1999.
From 2005 to 2015, he worked at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
By the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 25 November 2015, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies and concurrently served as Acting Minister.
On 15 January 2016, he was relieved of that position and appointed Minister of Communications and High Technologies.
Following the merger of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies on 13 February 2017, he was appointed Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
On 26 January 2021, he was relieved of the position of Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and, by a subsequent Presidential Decree, appointed Chief of Staff of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
By the Presidential Decree dated 10 May 2014, he was awarded the “Progress” Medal on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and for his contributions to the preservation and promotion of the legacy of Heydar Aliyev.
He is the former Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2016-2021).
He is fluent in Russian and English.
He is married and has two children.
